    I have an xbox live gold membership with a kinect hooked up, and I have a Netflic unlimted membership. It says to watch netflix, to go to my xbox menu and download the netflix app. But I can’t find anywhere to do that.
    Do I need to have a disc in to get the dashboard to come up. Because what comes up when the machine is empty looks different than when it has a disc in it.

      On your dashboard go to my xbox. You will be able to go to many slides. Find the one with the netflix logo. You should have it alrady but if your xbox didnt come with it, you will be promted to download it for free. The only requirement is an internet connection the whole time for the 5-60 minute download. *I DID MEAN 60… that’s how unpredictable they are*

    Ok last night I was using the wifi from my computer to watch netflix on my playstation. Then in the morning I played multiplayer sonic and sega all star racing and then now i can’t get on netflic, i reset the modem and router, (unlpug it, wait 10-20 second blah blah) but it still won’t work, internet is enabled. I obtained the IP adress when I tested the connection but then the internet timed out. Like i said everything was fine yesterday. Whats really wierd is that i can use the wifi on my ipod touch and wii.PLEAE HELP!

      It is possible that Netflix is the problem. Have you tried watching Netflix using any other device?

      Another (however remote) possibility is that your internet provider may be throttling your bandwidth to control usage.

      Regardless, it is probably a temporary problem.
