     If you can connect your xbox to the internet than you shouldn’t have a problem. If you don’t have wifi then just connect your xbox to the internet using a physical cable. Then just follow the prompts from netflix on your xbox.

     Just put it in the 360 and use the 360 controller to click play, fast-forward, rewind and stop. My 3 brothers watch movies on there 360 too. We get netflix but we don’t have a gold neflix account…..

     Ok- this is what you do. Turn on your Wii and go to netflix – then go to your computer and sign in to netflix. Once your signed in, go to activate device- and choose the Wii. It will give you an activation code. Put that code in your Wii on Netflix. Then it will sync and your ready to go

      You sign in to your netflix account on your computer and register the code into the account.

    Lets see iv’e downloaded netflix on wii, click on it and thn told me to activate code on computer but can’t seem to find the redeem code any help with this.

      GO to the wii shopping center and download wii. If you have that already, then the next step is to go on your computer and access your netflix account. There will be a code on the wii that you need to input on your account to activate it. Watch out though! If you wait too long to input the code online, then a new activation code will appear on the wii. Once the code is punched in, it takes a minute or two for activation. THen you are set! Careful though if you have a slow router, because the internet is slow on the computer when you are watching a netflix movie (and vice versa).

      Yes you need to create a Netflix account and of course it costs money. The minimum subscription needed to stream from Netflix on live is the .99 one with unlimited streaming. Netflix usually offers a free 2 week trial, so you can try it out to see if you like it first.

      Usually restarting my macbook does the trick. If that doesnt work, call netflix.

      What do you mean “deactivated”? I’ve had Netflix for years and all I do is go to the home website and log in. You may need to reinstall the viewer software if it won’t play movies. Click the “remember me on this computer” box when you log in so you don’t have to keep typing your password..

      Well… assuming you got a Sony with the Netflix app capability then you need to go into your Netflix account on your computer and get a code for a remote device. Once you get the code, go to your Blu-ray player, into the Netflix app and enter that code. Boom! You’re in!

      1) Make sure you are logged into your netflix account
      2) THEN go to http://www.netflix.com/Wii
      3) If it gives you a place to enter your code, do it and you’re good to go
      4) If it doesn’t give you a place, Netflix has screwed up. Just call their customer service number and tell them the problem; a rep will be able to get your console activated.

    In order to activate Netflix for PS3, do you have to be connected to the internet on your pc and PS3?
    I inserted the PS3 disk Netflix gave me to upstream movies. It said go to www.netflix.com/PS3 and enter the code given to activate.Therefor I had to unhook my modem from the PS3 back to the computer. As I put the code in, it said code expired get another code. So I unhooked my modem from the pc back to my PS3 to get another code. So here I go again unhooking the modem and putting it back to the pc. Once again code expired get another code. So I figure I’m doing something wrong. Do I need to be connected online at the same time? If so what do I need to have my pc and PS3 connected online at the same time? All I have is a wired DSL router…….HELP PLEASE!

      why not use the ps3 browser instead of unhooking and plugging in the pc ?
      better yet , buy a router so both can connect at once . just plug an ethernet cable from the modem to the router and either use wifi to connect the ps3 or if you have just a wired router plug ethernet cables from the routers lan ports to both the ps3 and pc

    I’ve done both. Going to the URL while logged out brings me to a login page, which brings me to my account page after I log in. Following links through the Netflix website to get to the activation page eventually brings me to netflix.com/activation, which redirects me to my account page just as if I had typed it into the URL bar.
    Meant to type netflix.com/activate rather netflix.com/activation up there.

      or find the link in the “your account” page dealing with the PS3, and Xbox

      edit- alright, well try restarting your router and computer, sometimes either can get a little wonky.

      Also, make sure that your xbox is on and has the screen asking you to visit netflix.com with the code.

      You must put in a Credit Card number before you get the free trial. Trust me, I tried. They probably did this because they wanted to suck you into the movies and such.

      I am having the same problem. I called Netflix and they said it was a Nintendo issue. I called Nintendo and they tell me it is a Netflix issue. Figures. The guy from Nintendo said that this is an issue they have received several calls about and they have found that once the person tries to connect a few hours later or the next day it works. We’ll see, I hope this works for you! I will let you know if I have any success with finding another way of solving the problem.

    I keep getting disconnected from Netflix using Xbox Live. My internet connection is fine. My wireless connection is strong. I’m able to connect with my laptop and other wireless devices. However, when i try to use Netflix it just disconnects me and when i get kicked out and into the Dashboard I’m still connected to Xbox Live.       Hi there.

      Many subscription based websites, like netflix will not accept gift cards, assuming your using a MasterCard (Credit Card) style giftcard. This is also the case at gas stations.

      It has to do with the way the cards work.
      Because of the fixed limit on the cards, you cant enroll reoccurring charges on subscription style plan.

      I would try buying a gift code at the netflix site with the card. Click the “give netflix” button, buy yourself prepaid time, instead of a subscription, and use the code instead fo giving it. You should be able to buy prepaid time, as it is not a reoccurring charge.

      No, it doesn’t cost any extra to add devices to your Netflix account. Keep in mind, though, that if those friends aren’t in the same household, it’s a violation of the Terms of Service.

      The bigger issue might be that you are limited to how many devices can be using your Netflix account at one time. This is determined by the level service you have with Netflix. So, if all your friends are watching at once, you could be denied access!

    Help With Searching For Movies On Wii Netflix?
    So I just activated Netflix for the Wii and one thing that’s really annoying me is that there’s no search bar. Since I’ve only had it for a few hours I went on the website to try to figure it out. Since it doesn’t say anything about it, is there any way that you can search for movies?       Yeah if its like xbox and ps3 go online to netflix.com and search for movies you like. once u find lets say “titanic” underneith it it says PLAY or ADD. Play means you can play on pc, or if you hover over the word play you can Add to your list. Once you log into netflix it will be on your list. Its the easiest way since you can type the name and its easy to search. it will recommend also wich makes it easier! add dvds also to your mailing list. you get 1 if your paying 8.99. no limit to movies you watch also!.
