   I get a sign in problem on Netflix when I try to view movies online. It doesn’t happen on the login screen, it happens on the player screen. It recommends signing out and then back in again, which I’ve done several time to no avail. Please help.

     If you are using browsers like google chrome or firefox you might wanna try deleting the cache and cookies which you can do by going to tools menu or simlpy pressing ctrl+shift+delete and click OK..

     i don’t believe so, Netflix is a different company and they have that info somewhere else. Sony’s info was only what info you placed when you first started your PSN account and Any info placed at PSN Store e.g. CC details.

     So unless Netflix also got hacked in a different situation you would not be effected in that case.

   Anybody have a code for a month free of Netflix when you sign up?
   Been looking online for a free promo code for a free month of Netflix when you sign up for the service. Every code I have seen is out of date. If anyone has a code that is still in effect I’d appreciate it. I just had a major surgery and not having cable is driving me nuts. Netflix is a cheaper alternative. Thanks in advance!

   Can I sign in to Netflix on my PS3 using a different account?
   I had Netflix on my PS3 but my account with them expired. My dad has his own account with Netflix, but the PS3 won’t let him sign in with his account, it says his account ID or password is incorrect (we double-checked it wasn’t). Is this because the Netflix and PS3 accounts or different? Can we get around this?

     Yes you can sign in to Netflix on your PS3 using a different account. I used a different account by deleting Netflix and redownloading it from the PS Store. You”ll have to wait till it’s back up.

   Can you sign up for netflix with a used visa card?
   i have a visa card with a few cents in it and was wondering if it will let me sign up for netflix. They dont charge you until after the month is over(unless you cancel) so im assuming that you might be able to enter just any visa card number and cancel before the month is over. does anyone understand what im asking? need help.

     Yes you can use it on the ps3 and xbox 360 at the same time

     you just go to the netflix site and then purchase it there. Once you have netflix just download netflix on your ps3 and on your friends xbox and just follow the instructions. I did mine a while back but i think it only gives you a code for you to use on the xbox and another code to use for the ps3 and that’s it.

      You select Netflix from your dashboard, fill a signup and then you can start a free trial.

    I tried many many times going on the Canadian Netflix site but every single time it takes me to default page and keeps telling me I need a valid US adress. But once i was at my friend’s house and it was working perfectly fine. And one more thing. is there any way to use a TD debit card instead of a credit card?

      It seems it may think your IP address is American. I would talk to their support.

      As for payment, you need a credit card, or a credit card backed debit or prepaid card. If your debit card is your plain ATM card with no Visa backing, it won’t work.

      It will be much easier to get an authoritative answer directly from Netflix by calling 1-866-636-3076. I think calling by phone works better for people like you who still use checks and cash.

    I don’t get is when they say what your company is. It’s in the page where they ask what your address is and all that stuff.

      I think they want to know if you are creating a company account or a personal account. Just leave it blank.

    I deleted all of the movies on my list because I thought my CPU couldn’t handle loading it ( you can up to 500 to the dvd queue and 500 watch instantly) but I still have this problem

    When I go to netflix.com signed in the page is just not responding and Windows Task Manager says constantly 100% CPU usage and 500 mb RAM usage, the processes say that all the cpu usage is from iexplore.exe even though I’m only on the Netflix Website Nothing else, I don’t have any thing running in the taskbar to close like yahoo messenger, I have this problem even if I just started the PC and went straight to netflix, I did a Full Scan with Microsoft Security Essentials so it couldn’t be a virus, I used to be able to sign in to my netflix account no I can only go to the site if I’m signed out.

      Usually just clicking on SPAM when you receive the message will direct it to your SPAM FOLDER and any subsequesnt emails from this person will go there…if that doesn’t work try below….

      If you are using yahoo classic:
      Go to “Options” It is above your email
      Click on “Mail Options”
      Click on “Blocked Addresses”
      Enter the address you want to block
      Click on “Add Block”
      Click on “Save”

      If you are in ALL NEW MAIL…just click on MAIL CLASSIC(located at the top of the email screen) to do the above. When you are done you can click on ALL NEW MAIL to get back to it if you want…

      If you are using new yahoo
      Go to “Options” It is above your email
      Click on “Mail Options”
      Click on “Spam”
      Enter the address you want to block
      Click on “Add ”
      Click on “Save Changes”

      Here’s their phone # – call and ask.1-866-716-0414. I have found the people at Netflix to be very helpful and can most likely tell you why. There may be many reasons. Give it a try.

      The reason you can’t log in on other computers is because your logged in at home. Log out at home and it should work.

      Yeah, its problably one of the best features of netflix, all you need to do is signup and they give you the first month free, or at least that is what I did.

      If they dont do that anymore I have like 5 codes to give anyone a month free that Netflix gave me for being a member for a couple years so you can just message me and I’ll send you one of the codes if you want

    We just started our free trial yesterday and after putting our credit card number in it used our PlayStation network email to sign into Netflix, now I’m trying to sign into my account through my laptop using the email off of my ps3 but it’s not working.

      The Netflix monthly price for unlimited movies is lower than Blockbuster.

      For less than per month, you can get getting up to 3 movies at a time from Netflix. Getting only 2 movies at a time from Blockbuster costs over from Blockbuster.

      Netflix has really fast turn-around. They are based on California but they seem to have sending/receiving locations for the DVDs all over the country. There is one within several miles of me. They receive my movies the day after I send them, send new one(s) out the same day, and I receive them the day after that. I virtually always get 2 day turn-around, for stuff I mail in on Monday-Thursday.

      I had both the Blockbuster plan and the Netflix plan for about half a year, so I could decide which one I liked.

      The Netflix was the clear winner, for me. Here is why.

      The local Blockbuster store was like a “grab bag”. I never knew if they would have something I would want to see. It took 20 minutes to find what I wanted, which was usually not something I was wildly excited about. Then another 5-10 minutes of waiting in line and checking out my movie(s).

      Contrast that with Netflix. They asked me to rate movies I had seen before, and they hit me up with some popular ones. I rated the ones I had seen. It eventually got in a groove with me and started asking pretty accurately which ones I had seen. So it went fast. Then, I had the hang of it and started searching on my favorite genres/actors/titles – and that really sped up the process.

      Turned out I had seen about a thousand movies. While I was doing that, not all at once of course, I picked some movies for it to send me. It sent the first 3 right away. It maintains a “queue” for you – it’s a line of movies that are waiting to be seen by you. It is a lot better than waiting in line to see movies you barely want to see over at the local video store.

      Most of the movies in my Netflix queue are ones I really want to see. There are several hundred in my queue. As quickly as I watch and return the ones I have, new ones will arrive automatically from the head of my queue. I pick the movies I want to see. I cannot pick the movies I want my local video store to have on the shelf for me.

      Personally, I haven’t had any DVDs arrive from Netflix broken or scratched. I don’t know why – you would think they would get broken in those little paper mailers but they don’t seem to. If you do get one that you can’t play though, they have an online form you can fill out on their web site. You tell them which movie it was and what was wrong with it. Postage prepaid on the return mailing envelopes too! I think they send you a replacement one out, on the spot. They seem to know their business and how to do it right – for the customer. They have been doing this since the 1990s.

      By contrast, a couple of times I have gotten movies from the local Blockbuster that I couldn’t play. I find fewer signs of fingerprints on the DVDs that come from Netflix than the ones I rent at the local Blockbuster store.

      Netflix really does make sense. It is cheaper, takes less of your time, no money spent on gas or postage, has really quick turn around time, and has a queue of movies you want to see that you pick the contents and the order of the DVDs you want to rent. Their web site makes it fast to find the movies you want to see really fast – by browsing, searching, or glancing over their recommendations. Their own users rate the movies, as well as critics – and you rate them too. They’re like having a best friend along with you that has the same tastes as you, making it fun and easy to pick out what you want to see.

      Netflix is a good service, so try it out!

      it’s probably your internet connection speed or wifi signal .
      it would only buffer and skip if it was downloading too slow
      check the connection , do a ps3 connection test to see if it’s fast enough
      you need a minimum 1mb/s download speed . to get ideal netflix streaming a 5mb/s or faster speed is best .

      The Movies are from all different times, but most are very recent.As soon as the movie comes out on DVD, netflix has it. I highly recommend having a membership to netflix, because you get awesome movies for a low price.

    Cannot sign into Netflix, Hulu or MLBtv on PS3?
    IMy PS3 suddenly stopped working on the 1080p setting on my television. After going insane for about 3 hours trying to resolve the issue, I finally gave up and did a Restore Default Settings. It resolved the 1080p issues but my Netflicx, Hulu and MLBtv accounts cannot log in. I can go to my Mac and log in but when I use the same credentials on my PS3 it says that my email address or password is incorrect. I deleted all three and reinstalled them but still get the same error. It says that I have to use my PS network login so I tried it and it still does not work. I would really appreciate any suggestions.

    If I start a Netflix free trial at the beginning of a month how much do I get billed for at end of month?
    Lets say I want to sign up for Netflix, I choose the 8.99/month option and start the free trial July 1st, then after July 14th I have to start paying. Do I get billed at the end of the month for a full month, do I get billed for half a month or do I get billed in the middle of August for a full month?

      You will be billed in August. I personally would recommend you keep it. I don’t have cable but I like having Netflix. I get to watch my tv shows Dexter, Trueblood, etc. I usually have no problems with the dvds. Hopefully they fix that so there is not even one skipping dvd (I think they would like to instant play all their movies).

    Are there any good promotions for Netflix and Blockbuster?
    Besides the normal 2 week trial they offer, are there any good third parties to sign up through so that you get something extra in the process?

    For instance, on Facebook, you can get points for certain features by signing up for Netflix…but I’m trying to find something better than that.

      Sometimes Netflix sends out these little cards to their members that give anyone they refer a free month. So if you know anyone with Netflix, just wait until they send out some of those cards and ask for one.

      You can watch movies instantly as soon as you acquire membership.
      However, not all of the movies can be watched on the computer.
      Only the movies which have a blue PLAY button on them.

      What movie is it you are talking about specifically? Any Netflix member
      would be able to tell you if that movie is watchable instantly.

      Well your first problem is that you’re using Windows Vista. This Operation System (OS for short) uses a lot of resources. I would recommend upgrading to Windows 7. But if you just upgrade your cpu to an i7, I don’t think you’ll have the same problem.

      You can only stream one movie at a time. If you sign up to the 2-movies plan, then you can stream 2 movies simultaneously.
