     After a few weeks, we usually transfer they new big title to our previously viewed product section, and we sell them.When we have too many prp, and too many of the rental copies, then we destroy them. Doesn’t that stink? What a waste of a dvd.

     1a. Upgrading is generally put off as long as possible, as a new version means additional costs. It’s not just the cost of the software itself. New software may have different dependencies, forcing upgrades of other software and hardware. There’s going to be training costs and a drop in productivity as your people get up to speed on the new software. A lot of times, if the existing system still works, a company’s brass might decide to work around some issues rather than upgrade to a newer version where the problem’s fixed — “the devil you know…”

     2c. A volume license is cheaper per licensed machine than buying several copies individually. However, if those 5 copies have to be spread out to different departments, individual licensing may be chosen instead for internal accounting reasons. A company’s IT department should probably consider all options prior to an upgrade and consider all relevant factors.

     yes, this is expected to happen. there is a rumor that the ipad2 will be the same price as the original ipad and the original ipad price will drop.

   The movie Penelope just came out in the movie stores, and i want to see it, but everyone says it isn’t that good and i should wait till it isn’t new release so i don’t have to pay five dollars to see it. How long do i have to wait?

     At least 4-6 months. Often new movie drop in price during that time and people rent other titles too.

    Is Windows Server 2003 Certification still worth to take considering the release of the new 2008 version?
    I’m learning Windows Server 2003 SP1/R2 then I found out that Microsoft already released a new version which is the 2008 Server Edition. Do I have to continue learning the 2003 version or should I shift directly to the new release?

    I am planning to take up the MCSA/MCSE certification, which version would you think is worth and recommended as of now?

      Upgrading onto a new server operating system ins’t as simple as formatting an XP computer and loading Vista onto it. It requires a lot of planning and testing before upgrading the production servers.

      I’d say go for MCSA/MCSE on Windows Server 2003 since most businesses are probably going to take time to move onto Windows Server 2008. Once you’ve completed your MCSE with a MCTS certification in Vista configuration, it only takes two more exams to upgrade to MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional) Enterprise Administrator for Windows Server 2008.

11. QUESTION:
    If Apple releases a new Macbook in October, will it be a worldwide release?

      As all MacBooks are, it is a worldwide release, however it will probably be delayed by a few days, to a few months before it comes to Australia.

    when i pull the tranny apart do i need a new release bearing?
    i did a motor swap but used the same tranny. my question is when you take apart the tranny from the motor are you supose to put in a new release bearing everytime? because i didnt and now my car makes a noise when i lift off the clutch but stops when i press down.

      Yes you should change the throwout bearing and the pilot bearing/bushing(In the crankshaft). They are pretty cheap and seam to coincidentally always start making noise right after a trans installation.

      You’d have to ask them, they’ll tell you which movies apply.

      It means only certain films out are part of it. Generally it’s the newest ones that are excluded.

16. QUESTION:
    I want to start a cinema. Where do I purchase new release films before they reach the big screen?
    Where do cinemas in general go to find their films to show? I need a contact or website to buy these new releases as they get released from the producers or studios before they even reach the rest of the theaters. How do I go about? I am starting a small independent cinema in my home town.

      First thing first, you need to learn how the movie theatre business works.

      Your first lesson: theatres rent movies from the studios, they do not buy them. Films are rented for a percentage of the gross which will often net out to about 55/45 for the studio.

      Your second lesson: just because you want a movie in your theatre does not mean you’ll be able to get it when you want it. When you can get a movie will often depend on the kind of business your theatre does and how long your theatre can play the movie. Although it sounds counter-intuitive, the studios are often more concerned with weeks on screen than the actual gross – at least for first run theatres. If you can not guarantee at least 2-3 weeks on screen for most new releases, you will not be able to get most movies the opening weekend.

      Your third lesson: not all movie releases are created equally.
      -Some movies are wide releases which are available to virtually any theatre nationwide on the opening weekend.
      -Some movies are wide releases, but are not available to smaller theatres/markets during the first few weeks.
      -Some movies are limited releases which only play in major cities; some limiteds eventually expand to nationwide, some do not.

      Finally, you will need to find a film booker who will work as your go between with the studios. It is possible for you to do the film bookings yourself, but it will be difficult without industry contacts. You really need a booker who has the buying power of several hundred screens. This makes it much easier to get what you want than if you’re just a couple screens all by yourself.

      I should also add that unless you have some really good connections within the movie industry, you have absolutely zero chance of getting sneak previews, advance screenings, or test screenings in a small town.

      If you’re interested in becoming an “art house” where you specialize in smaller studio releases, independent movies, and foreign films, you should understand there is completely different set of dynamics at play.

      I’m not positive, but I’m guessing it just depends on the book. If it’s a relatively popular book I’m sure it will be out because they know it will sell. If it’s kind of obscure it might take a while.

    If I don’t send my movies back on Saturday, I’m assured that I won’t get a new release on Tuesday. Now when I miss this magic date, I won’t see that new release pick for two weeks or more.       Netflix purchases a limited number of copies of each new release. They can’t possibly purchase one for every single person who has the movie in their queue. So they distribute the limited quantities and anyone who has it in their queue is subject to the system – if a third of people who got the new release first sit on it for two weeks, that means the rest of those who want it will have to wait longer until they can get it. Netflix uses some fancy tracking systems to determine who gets what when, and there’s not much you as the user can do about it except return your movies quickly and hope others do as well so that films move through the system faster.

      Every year, usually around April. Don’t worry, though, those CG7′s are just as good as anything they’re going to release, or have released since those sticks came out. Physics doesn’t change annually just because the marketing departments try to make you think they do.

    Is it legal to play new release DVD’s at my bowling alley?
    I own a bowling alley in Michigan and want to play new releases on a big screen for my customers while they bowl. I’m not charging a cover charge or anything, just normal bowling prices.

      It is legal if you have license from the distributor to do so. DVDs are sold with license for home viewing only. Even if you do not charge to view the film, the license does not extend to public viewing.

      Pyth, take advantage of the discount (if you really want a Mac). Another option would be to shop for a Mac Store refurbished laptop. I did and it has been working great. Talk to a rep and they will explain them to you.
      They have full warranty (just like new).
      One thing I found with Mac is that you pay for EVERYTHING !

    Ok, so I have watched two episodes of Gundam Unicorn and I was wondering why it is taking so long to release new episodes.       Simple. Look at how long they are and look at the animation. They’re putting a lot of work in Unicorn, and it’s paying off. Sure we have to wait a little while. However, the wait between 1 and 2 was about eight months….this time it’s only four.

      I am not positive, but very very soon. Within the next month would be a safe bet. I have read there are some beautiful new Kenwoods coming out too. If I were you I would wait for the new stuff. And good choice with Kenwood headunits! I use Kenwood hu’s and they are the best.

Wouldn’t it be better for the economy and the environment if cars had a wider release year, say 5 year differentials? Reason being the companies release new models with minor upgrades that are pointless. Or are they just trying to breakeven by selling us crap since they will never get out of their debt.

      They DONT. It costs millions of dollars to make a production change, and that’s for one model line. They may make minor changes that will fit the parameters of the current line up, but nothing major. Major changes occur, say around every 5 to 7 years.

    Why does Full Metal Alchemist take 1 month to release a new chapter, I mean both Naruto and Bleach release new chapters each week. I mean they only started showing Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood like around April this year but still dont you think I chapter a month is abit too much.       Shonen Gan-Gan (the magazine that serializes FMA and also Soul Eater as dylan c mentioned) is a monthly magazine.

      It’s been like that for a good amount of time.
      And no Hiromu Arakawa is not running out of ideas and Studio Bones is the animation company that decided to start Brotherhood a while back- judging that the manga would end by the time they catch up to… where the manga is at. (doesnt seem like it though huh? Bet Bones wishes they took more time on those first fifteen episodes)

    I am a Netflix subscriber. New DVD movies release every Tuesday; however, because they come through the mail, I haven’t been able to have a new release arrive on the DATE that it releases. Is there a way to have it work this way???

      Due to the fact that they can’t release it prior to Tuesday and mail is unreliable, they likely will not ship the DVD until the Tuesday it is released, so you could get it Wednesday. (I have a friend who did it; she mailed her movie back so that it would arrive on Monday, on Tuesday the new release was processed and mailed, and it was at home on Wednesday.)

      Well, Burn After Reading, was in my opinion.. terrible.
      Tropic Thunder was brilliant, considering many scenes were improvised.
      Ghost Town is completely HILARIOUS! The humour of Ricky Gervais will blow you away!
      I would definitely go for ‘Ghost Town’, but it depends what type of genre you want.

    Just curious if anyone had information about release dates for these game systems. I was also wondering what is better, Xbox 360 or PS3 and is it wort it for me to get one of these now or just wait for a new model to come out?
